GOING TO Las Angeles
We are happy to announce that the NAMF, teens and instructors, have been invited to perform at the next Musack Rock n'Roll Carnival in Los Angeles, California. We are seeking donations of funding for our travel. The funding will go to flights, housing, food, and transportation.
Thank you for supporting our adventure. We have been working hard for four years, and we are now ready to perform.

2018 Carnival
We will be having a fun day of music, celebrities, comedy, and family fun at our backyard mini-Coachella while putting guitars in the hands of underprivileged kids and teens. This year's first lineup announcement: Flavor Flav doing a DJ set!
Past Carnivals
Set in a big park-like backyard in the middle of Los Angeles, the Rock n' Roll Carnival always features a full day of amazing bands, children's activities, food, art, and comedy. Past Carnivals have featured English Beat, Billy Bragg, Rancid, Fishbone, Weird Al, Lisa Loeb, The Interrupters, Tim Armstrong in a Tree (like performing in an ACTUAL tree), Yo La Tengo, Superchunk, She & Him, Childish Gambino, X, Jonathan Richman, The Polyphonic Spree, and too many more to mention but you get the idea. And, they're all to put instruments in the hands of kids in need and to empower them with a creative voice... and maybe to be the next Dylan or Hendrix (fingers crossed).

August 26-Fly to Albuquerque, NM and drive back to the Navajo Reservation

THE MUSACK ADVENTURE
Back in 2009, writer/producer Donick Cary (Letterman/Simpsons/Parks and Recreation/Silicon Valley) began Musack with a simple vision: to raise money to fund musical programs for his hometown high school on Nantucket Island. After a rash of teen suicides on the island, Donick thought about how he and his friends got through their teen years. Music.
Last year, we connected up with Donick Carey and the magic began. We were gifted 4 guitars and that is when the teens started forming up bands to perform.
A year rolls by and Musack decided to do a Board Retreat and visit us here on the Navajo Reservation.
A party was hosted in their honor at the "Big House" in Ft. Defiance. Our instructors and teens provided an night of music, tradional dancing, and followed by our famous Navajo Tacos.
